I went to a vocational high school where I completed the four-year Graphic Communications program. During this time, I was a member of SkillsUSA and competed multiple times in a variety of regional, state, and national competitions in design. During my senior year, I submitted a state t-shirt design to be worn by all participating students at the Massachusetts state competition. I won first place, and I was able to nationally compete in Louisville, Kentucky on a scholarship, where I presented my design to a panel of judges alongside the other 49 states. I received seventh place competing for best t-shirt design in the country.

The final product was a digital, left chest and back t-shirt logo on to represent the 2016 competition. SkillsUSA sent the shirts out for production
